THE DECENTRALIZED EQUAL OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION MEMBERS FROM THE BI FACULTY
The decentralized equal opportunity commission members are contacts for all ideas, problems and matters relating to equality in the faculty. Their task is to take a stand for the target agreement / agreement on objectives and to take part in committee meetings and appointment committees.
According to the university development plan of the Ruhr University, ‘equality’ means ‘equal opportunities for women and men’. This is a central criterion for the development of the university and the RUB and has been deemed a cross-sectional task. The central equal opportunity commission members of the RUB are supported by decentralised equal opportunity commission members in each of the 20 faculties. They are elected by the faculty committee and are the official representatives for professors, academic staff, employees in facilities and administration, as well as all students.
